Shelter Challenge voting changes – how to vote for us!

HOW TO VOTE FOR RIKKI’S REFUGE IN THE SHELTER CHALLENGE!
1. YOU MUST HAVE A SHELTER CHALLENGE ACCOUNT TO VOTE!
Voting without logging in is no longer allowed! You must be logged in to vote!
2. Please use the link below to register (if you don’t have an account) and to vote (if you do have your account set up). If you are setting up your Shelter Challenge account for the first time, make sure you choose Rikki’s Refuge as your shelter!

3. After you click on the above link, LOG IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT! You can log in via Email, Facebook or Google Plus. You must be logged in to vote! The log in feature will show up as a pop up.
4. The page will refresh once you are logged in, scroll down until you see the GREEN VOTE BUTTON, and click on the vote button.
5. The page will refresh again back to YOUR ACCOUNT PAGE, and there will be a box below your task icons and above the information for Rikki’s Refuge that says, “Thanks for voting! Please vote again tomorrow.” <–top left of page!

On Tuesday, May 5th you’ll have the opportunity to make  donation for Rikki’s Refuge REALLY count! Check us out (and bookmark our page) on the COMMUNITY FOUNDATION of the Rappahannock River Region “COMMUNITY GIVE” site here: https://www.thecommunitygive.org/#npo/rikkis-refuge

Donations to Rikki’s Refuge MUST be made at the provided link above,  To qualify for additional hourly prizes, we must have at least ONE $25 donation per hour (each hour, Midnight to Midnight, on 5/5/15)

Can you volunteer to help our sheep shearer?

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT RIKKI’S REFUGE – MAY 15/16, 2015!
We will have a sheep shearer here at Rikki’s Refuge on May 15 and May 16. We need a few volunteers to help, that are experienced in handling sheep, on these two days. (IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE BUT WANT TO HELP, WE CAN TRAIN YOU!) We unfortunately cannot allow spectators for the shearing, to help keep them calm. Rabies/Micro-chip Clinic in Culpeper on 5/3/15

Culpeper Felines & Friends will be holding a RABIES VACCINATION AND MICRO-CHIP CLINIC at the Culpeper Animal Hospital on MAY 3, 2015. There will also be a yummy bake sale with lots of delectable homemade items and a fun sale of dog and cat related items like toys, costumes, treats, etc! Dogs on leashes please and cats in carriers.
