VEGGIE LOVER’S SANDWICH
1 avocado
Tofutti (vegan) cream cheese
Your choice of bread
2 carrots, peeled and grated
Thinly sliced red onion
Thinly sliced sweet bell pepper
Fresh spinach
Thinly sliced mushrooms
Thinly sliced cucumber
Lime for juice
Salt and Pepper to taste
In a bowl, mash the avocado. Squirt a little lime juice over top and mix in salt and pepper to taste. Spread on ONE side of the sandwiches. Spread cream cheese on the other slices of bread. Layer, on the cream cheese side, cucumbers, mushrooms, carrots, peppers, and red onion. On the avocado side, top with spinach. Put the sandwiches together. Cut in 1/2 and eat!

Donations appreciated! Bring a can or bag of dog food or cat food! Wear appropriate shoes or boots (no flip-flops or sandals) and make sure you’re dressed for the weather (proper jacket, rain gear, whatever is called for, for that day!) DRESS FOR THE COLD WEATHER PLEASE! Be prepared to walk and be on your feet for a few hours! Feel free to bring carrots, apples, vanilla wafers, and broccoli to feed the animals on your tour. Feel free to take photos!

Medications, antibiotics, vaccines, wormers, advantage, fluids for kidney patients, rubbing alcohol, latex gloves, scissors, gauze, syringes & needles (insulin 1cc 22-27 gauge 1/2″ needle min, 1.5″ 18 gauge needles for fluids, 3cc 22-27 gauge 1-1.5″ needle) for giving medications ($12.99 buys a box of 100), puppy pads (used as cage liners)
