Raccoon in the tree (left) was eating pumpkins with the sheep before a hooman showed up, the deer (in the center) is coming over for breakfast too !!

Well …  I guess we know who’s getting breakfast first this morning !!!

It’s a BEAUTIFUL day at Rikki’s Refuge !!!!

And WE are hoping to meet you UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day !!!

Rikki’s Refuge No-Kill Life-Care Multi-Species Animal Sanctuary will be OPEN on THANKSGIVING and CHRISTMAS day from NOON until 2 PM for Donation Drop Off and visitors. Come on out, drop off food and supplies for the animals, and visit with horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs and more. Bring PRODUCE or commercial treats for that species if you’d like to give anybody a treat. No cookies, crackers, bread, etc, everybody here is on a controlled diet. Come and meet Sanctuary manager Doug Deal who can tell you all about the animals. Please dress for the weather, it’s all outdoors, rain or shine, snow or sleet !!
