We have a great big sadz at Rikki’s Refuge this morning. Joe Callahan one of the original Rikki’s Refuge people, who’s lived at Rikki’s for last 25 years, passed away early this morning.

While all of us here at Rikki’s are missing Joe a lot, he’s got so many friends, cats and dogs and horses and cows as well as many other Rikki’s volunteers happily greeting him at the Rainbow Bridge.

Pictured is Joe with Schuster, his favorite Biker Chick, from several years ago. Schuster loved to ride with Joe on the bike. Joe would start the engine and Schuster would run over and hop on !!
