The Vet Debt is a never ending cycle.

at 540-829-9085 and put a credit on our account. Our vet, Dr. Vargas, is
wonderful to our animals but she has bills to pay too so she can't do it
all for free. She supplies her diagnostic skills, surgery skills,
drugs, preventative medications and all kinds of things to Rikki's.
You

Debt" in the memo field or make a credit card donation

Our
vet debt is the biggest expense we face each month -- and not
one that we can easily budget for. Rikki's is a home for life
for hundreds of animals -- many of them are older or have special
needs which bring increased medical bills. That said, even healthy
animals need to be neutered or spayed or face medical problems
that are easily treated but require surgery or extensive medical
work. We do as much of the medical work as possible at the sanctuary
to keep costs down.
If
you have medical supplies that you no longer need (ie: Elizabethean
collars, slings, disposable feeding dishes, etc.) we would love
to have them. Everything we don't have to buy helps keep our Vet
Debt down.
