Rikki’s Refuge Day of Remembrance Monday, May 25th • Noon to 2 PM
Join us at Rikki’s Refuge as we open our hearts and our sanctuary to celebrate the lives of every animal who has touched us — those who now run free across the Rainbow Bridge.
This includes all the beloved pets of our amazing volunteers, generous donors, and dedicated sponsors. Together, we’ll share joyful memories, laughter, and a few happy tears in a gentle, beautiful celebration of the love that never fades.
For just $10 per photo, honor your special friend by having their picture proudly displayed in our Memorial Barn for the day! You can include as many furry, feathered, scaled, or hooman loved ones as you’d like in a single
photo. Submit as many photos as you wish — $10 each, or get 15 for $100.
How to participate:
Email your ready-to-print photo (JPG, PNG, TIFF, or PDF — we can not edit) to Events@RikkisRefuge.org
Mail a printed photo to: Rikki’s Refuge, PO Box 1357, Orange, VA 22960
Or simply bring your printed photo(s) and payment with you on the day of the event!

Thursday, May 21st (mail early, it can be slow!)

All are warmly welcome — come as you are, bring a photo if you’d like, and spend a meaningful moment remembering the companions who filled our lives with so much joy. Share your happy memories and help us honor the animals who made our worlds brighter. We’d be truly honored to include your loved one in this special day of remembrance.

Details: Rikki’s Refuge Animal Sanctuary, 21410 Constitution Highway, Rapidan, Virginia at the corner of Quarter Horse Ln & Rt 20. Look for the Rainbow Fence & open gate.
Please dress for the weather and farm conditions – it’s all outdoors. No indoor facilities; just well-maintained porta-potty by the barn close to parking.
We love animals! To keep ours & yours safe, we can not allow yours on the Refuge grounds or left in your vehicle, no matter the situation, it’s too dangerous for any non-resident animals to be on the property.
Everyone must complete & sign a liability release form. Legal parent/guardian must sign for all minor children. You cannot sign for your friend’s or relative’s children. Forms will be available at Refuge or ask in advance by emailing Events@RikkisRefuge.org
