Rikki's is a 24 hour, seven day a week operation. Calls and emails are answered after all other work is done -- and there can be a significant delay. To help us get back to you quicker, please follow voice mail directions when you call and leave questions on the appropriate lines.

Directing all calls and emails to Kerry won't necessarily get you to the head of the line -- in fact, you could end up last on the list if she has to forward your call or email back to the appropriate volunteer. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

If this is an emergency situation, contact your local authorities or animal shelter.

If you want to surrender a pet, please read our "Surrendering a Pet" section first. We will not accept animals who are brought directly to us without prior approval.

Tours of the sanctuary are given on a regular basis and there are work parties happening most weekend from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. When visitors are expected the front gates will be latched but not locked. If you are not coming on a tour or work party, please phone ahead to confirm that your time/day will work out. Even though we have staff on hand their days are full taking care of the animals.
